Brine shrimp eggs?
Has anyone here bought brine shrimp eggs and hatched them in your tank as food for your tetras (or other fish)? Just curious how this worked out.
Brine shrimp must be hatched in salinity. It's not hard at all. You can take a 1/2 gal of dechlorinated water, add 4 tsp of salt (non idodized) and a air tube. Keep water warm, around 82 degrees, and you'll have them hatch in 30 hours. There is tons of info on YouTube about doing this. This shouldn't be done in a freshwater tank.
