Naja/Guppy grass? Or something else? I bought a handful of plants at Petco before I knew enough to make a smart purchase. In my grab bag of plants, I got something interesting that I have yet to identify, as there was no name, and was part of a "assorted plant" item. I have a few pictures here: http://i1064.photobucket.com/albums/...6-12222255.jpg http://i1064.photobucket.com/albums/...6-12230026.jpg All of my research has led me to think it may be naja/guppy grass. My research has also led me to believe that this type of plant is somewhat hard to obtain. I didn't think Petco would have this available, so perhaps it's something else. Any ideas? |
Um, wow, that doesn't look much like the Najas I've got in my tank? Huh. No clue. Posted via Mobile Device Tried to attach some pics I just took of my Najas but it's not working on my phone. I will say that the stuff grows like weed, literally 6+ inches in a week! |
Haha, thanks for trying though, it's appreciated. I know it doesn't look much like naja grass, but I've got nothing to go on. |
Is it like.. micro sword that came out of the pot and are a bunch of little separate plants? I know PETCO does sell Micro sword.. I can't see it too clearly (on my phone also) but, it looks to me like jumbled up micro sword or something similar. Posted via Mobile Device |
I think you may be right. I've started pulling it apart and it definitely is more similar to microsword than any floating plant. Thank you for your input! |
Just last week i bought the same plant at petco. It was in the big clear tank of assorted plants. Mine came in a pot and said micro sword. But when i pointed it out to the old guy that worked there he said thats not micro sword. I bought it anyway planted it in my tank and it hasent died yet so i guess thats a pluss.
