Newly planted 55gal
 

Finally planted my new 55gal, im happy with the results and going to give it until middle of july before adding anymore fish.
Currently got

6 x Rummynose Tetra
20 x CRS
1 x Gold Bristle nose plec

Coming along fine. I would get more rummys, soon, though. Another 6-9 to end up with 12-15.

My lfs has just got a new shipment of them in and of the same variety that i already have, am tempted to get some put aside for saturday

Is it a 55 long? It looks different from other 55's.

grrrrrr word of advice if someone says to you stamdard 55gal check for yourself saves you looking like a mug hahaha its actually 44.88 us gal or 48" x 18" x 12"

Looks really nice. What is the big water lilly looking plant and the sword like one with crinkly leaves?

Looking good - might suggest a background, even if just black poster board. WM carries some decent, inexpensive backgrounds for 55g (may need to trim a little for less height for yours is all). I have one on my 60g (much better than black).

The lilly looking one is echinodorus ozelot and the crinkly one i think is crinum natans but dont quote me on that! I kept the cards that came with them and put them in some sort of order which my brain has forgotten

Its on my to do list for today if i can get my azz in gear
