Sword propogation pictures
If you have swords that have sent out runners and have gotten new plantlets from them please post the pictures. Under water, above water, sword type. Even if you don't have pictures and have had a sword send out a plantlet runner please let us know what type of sword and if the nodes that were out of the water dried out or if you could put them back in the water after flowering and get them to grow roots. Also, please include if the runners made it of water and if the nodes/flowers dried out or survived long enough to be put back in the tank to form roots. IF you have ever had a sword multiply in any other way please include a detailed description and pictures if you have them. Remember, I want personal experiences only.
These are from Lonewolfblue's Ozelot Sword.
Eventually, assuming I get enough replies, an article will be written to show different swords and how they they propogate.
i heard you can cut off the shots that have roots hanging down, and plant them and grow another plant.have you ever done that?
Yu can replant them but it is best to wait until they have a good root mass and also have 5 or more leaves. Gives them best chance to survive.
