what to do with ozelot "flowers"?
my ozelot inmy 10 g tank has some sort of flowers, do i have to keep it underwater?
No. If you want, you can use a feather, brush, or similar on the flowers to pollinate them. You'll then get new plants growing (if you want them).
If you don't want it, you can just cut the flower stock off close to the crown.
Keep the flowers above the water (I assume they appeared on an inflorescence that was above the surface). They don't last too long. Adventitious plants will appear from several of the nodes along the inflorescence no matter what you do.:-) I would make sure they (the adventitious plants) are submersed.
Once they are substantial, with a few leaves and about 2-3 inches of white roots, you can gently pull them off the inflorescence and plant them in the substrate as new plants, or you can leave them on the inflorescence. I find that eventually the adventitious plants left on the inflorescence tend to get covered in brush algae.
