Mollies/guppies and ghost shrimp?

I'm just checking here, but would the fry of either mollies or guppies survive if there were ghost shrimp in the tank?

Or would the shrimp just get sushi handed to them?

And vice versa. Would the guppy/Molly fry eat baby shrimps?

If the shrimp can catch the fry, they will eat the fry. If the baby shrimp will fit in the fish's mouth, it will be eaten. In this case, a planted tank works in your favor by providing a lot of hiding places. I have mollies in a tank where glass shrimp are breeding and I get babies. I don't know how many get eaten. I also have endler fry (essentially guppies) in with glass shrimp in another tank, and the fish produce so many fry it doesn't really matter if a few get eaten.

Thanks! I just redid my tanks, and I now have mollies and guppies in with ghosties. They have met, and seem to accept and move on..I assume that 50/50 of the fry/larvae will get eaten, and thats okay with me!

Just as long as the ghost shrimp wont attach my guppies/mollies itll be okay!
