Snails and ca/sa cichlids

I bought about 5 Mystery snails for my tank. I bought them as more of an impulse buy, but I figured they do some good rather than harm. Will these Mystery Snails be fine in my setup? Have had them for about 2 days now, and havent seem them do much of anything. When I wake up, I see a couple have moved, but they are always upside down and I never see them moving about. What does everyone think, has anyone ever kept them together?

They could be getting picked at when they try to come out. If I was going to try snails with such fish, it would be nerites. They are much better protected and have significantly smaller antennae, which will minimize nipping.

Snails can be weird though - they could just be waiting for a reason unrelated to the fish. Give it a few more days.
