Good juvi krib food
For a well rounded diet for quarter inch kribs, I thought to get some spirulina. Upon research I found earthworm flake and medicated(metrodiazinole) flake. I kinda like the idea of having medications on hand; in fact I'm not sure I don't want to "dose" new fish from lfs. Anyone knowledgable about earthworm flake? CJD
Newly hatched Brine Shrimp or frozen Brine shrimp would be a better option.
I have never heard of that flake food, but they should not be fed a regular diet of it, they need a variety of foods but not too much fatty stuff. Good quality cichlid flakes and supplements of lettuce, peas, zucchini and carrots should also be included.
Be careful with the fry as well as the parents can potentially eat them unless they are separated.
You didnt make me mad :-)
Sometimes miss posts in the daily grind of work and getting home late. Cut the pieces of veggies up tiny and remove any uneaten pieces after the fish stop eating, it is ok to leave a few pieces in the tank as snack food but remove them if they are still uneaten near lights out time.
I run pretty hectic, too.. thank you Tazman..Jim
