Am I just feeding an empty tank? I'm breeding ghost shrimp, and I have a seperate tank for the fry. They were released 11 days ago, and by 8 days they started to leave the glass, and by nightime I couldn't see any of them, but there is Java Moss and a mini sunken ship so they could be anywhere! I managed to catch a glimpse of one baby shrimp, but none in the past two days! Am I feeding an empty tank? 0.o When will I be able to see them? Also, I'd like to know how much to feed my main ghosties tank. There are 27 mature ghosties, one betta and two mystery snails. I know that they'll forage, but it seems they are always looking! And they all rush for the food! I notice some of them don't get colored bellies, so that means they didn't get any food. I feed a small pinch on each side of the tank once a day and of they all have empty tummies I feed a pinch in the middle of the tank at night. But I notice more empty bellies! |
they are most likely hiding in the moss and inside the ship best time to catch them out is at night no lights on just a real small flash lite they could also have jumped out if your tank is not covered a small piece of nylon screen would work to cover any small openings you have or even the whole top if there's no cover (they are jumpers) |
