im planning on putting 3 or 4 swordtails, 3 or 4 mickey mouse platy 1 betta, some panda cory's (or oto are they the same thing?) and my plecos into a 29gallon, could i put in 3 or 4 zebra danios?
Re: Zebra Danios?
What plecos do you have? Panda cories and otos are different.
thanks for the help.
ok i dont know what kind of plecos i have but i will rehome them when they outgrow the tank. about the otos and panda cories in my lfs they say they are otos yet they look like panda cories, could i still put the cories in?
hmm i think they are panda cories.
oh about over stocking do you think that
3 plecos (still young i will rehome them)
4 or 5 panda cories
will be ok in a 29 gallon?
4 or 5 danios (not sure yet i have to make sure the lfs stocks them)
thanks again :D
They are all nice communtiy tank fish. Make sure the cories get enough food with the swordtails being there, though.
ok thanks, i think that my femlae platy will be more of a problem then my swordtail when it comes to food lol she is so greedy, but i know what you mean. do cories need alot of algae? or can they eat the fish flakes? (sorry about the dumb questions  )
fish flakes would be fine for the corys. thats wat i give mine and they love them. just make sure that some make it to the bottom. your plans for your tank sound great! they should all get along just fine. :nicefish:
hehe thanks crazy4fish i dont think my lfs has danios in right now but they are always getting in differnent breeds when they can find a breeder etc
samw with my lfs. i havent seen danios there in a while. i had some once. but when i bought them i didnt think i would like them that much but they were really fun to watch! they werent too nippy either. i hope yours will be as entertaining as mine! :D
