Using window screen mesh to make java moss wall?
Saw a few java moss walls, and figures id give it a try!
Can I use window screen mesh? I've got a whole roll of it, it's made of fiber glass, and it seems clean and free of dust.
If not this, what else do I use?
I have seen some people post of using a nylon scrub pad that is free of chemicals and looks like a hair net. Basically a plastic net that looks similar to a window screen.
You can buy plastic screens in the sewing/craft section of hobby stores that work well.
I think they're sold for needlepoint.
Ill have to look it up and do a bit more digging if i want to use it. Ill look at my lps and my local craft store for other stuff to use..Ugh..and i thought i was gonna have it easy!
have you ever gotten into fiberglass, yourself? its excessively irritating. it may be safe but if its not you're in trouble.
Why is it irritating?
i looked it up and it says nowhere about it containing lead or leaching chemicals.
Heh, theres nothing like running around swinging a stick only to have your hands start burning. Then to look at them and see them absolutely glistening from all the little glass fragments. Ugh!

Oh god! Thats gotta sting!
Ive accidentally fallen into a cactus..one of the little ones, with lots of little thorns! So Painful!
its the fiberglass itself thats irritating.
