guppies settling down for night
I am new to the hobby and was wondering if all guppies "settle down" for the night, when I go to the tank at night before bed all or most kinda sit on the bottom, it looks like they are making a bed for themselves. is this normal behavior for them?
Some of mine seem to prefer to rest on the substrate, while others seem to prefer sleeping closer to the top. . . I've always just assumed that this is normal, but I could be wrong? Mine seem well and healthy, so I guess it's okay! I'll watch for more experienced guppy owners to reply to this thread :)
yeah mine are healthy as well (at least they seem so). also I put a slice of blanched zucchini and they went nuts for it! it was funny to watch them fight over it
A lot of fish are sluggish in the morning. I'll find my black Moscow guppies on the gravel in the morning. I also learned over the years to give the fish at least ten minutes after turning on the light to wake up before you feed them.
