Rummey Nose Tetras and Opaline Gourami
Can these fish be together? The lady at petco said so when I bought the gourami two months ago. But aqadviser said the gourami is too aggressive for tetras. I have 5 rummies. I have never seen any problems. I'm very fond of all my fish and I don't want to replace anyone.
I have a 50 gallon tank with lots of plants and two decorations that provide hiding spots.
I can't see that as a problem. Because you have a group of tetras they'll be fine, plus you have a good deal of space. You do need lower ph, softer water for the rummy nose, and the Gourami will appreciate that too. The fish profiles here will give you that info.
