Melafix and snails
Can I use melafix in the tank with a snail?
Just curious. I've a betta with frayed fins that I'd like to use it for, but I also just got a new snail for the tank. The betta is showing signs of regrowth without it, but if it will help the betta and won't hurt the snail, I'd be inclined to use some.
i've never had a problem using it with snails present. :)
The snails should be fine.
Just remember to dose 1/5 of the normal dose for bettas - they are sensitive to some of the ingredients in melafix.
