Fishless 30 gallon
 

I have a fishless 30 gallon, and was getting a few artificial plants and ornaments at the pet store, and I walked by this tank, on my way to the oriental ornaments, and something caught my eye.
It was a 4 inch Oranda goldfish, wiggling is plump body joyfully throughout the tank- and i fell in love.
1. what other fish could i put with my oranda?
2. is this tank suitable for an oranda?
the tank is more width than depth, do there's lots of swimming room.

A 30gallon could work, but the fish can and probably will get huge (up to 12 in).

I am not sure what you can put one with, saying they are coldwater fish, and I have never had a Goldfish myself.

I actually have a 30 gallon freshwater tank with a medium sized orange oranda and a fat little ryukin in there and they love it. they might get to big for it eventually but as long as you have some powerful filtration ( theyre REALLY messy) and are willing to gravel vaccum often it should work out.
