HELP.....SICK female bettas???

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the advice on my new betta tank. My 3 females & 1 male are getting along fine in my 10 gal tank.

I woke up today and 2 of my females has what looks to be like a white fuzz on their sides. Anyone know what this is??? Or what treatment/medicine I need???

They have all been in the tank now for over a week and they were fine till this morning. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Fayhe37

Do you have any pics of it?
That might help. Are they covered in it? or is it just a small area?

small area on the 1, the other is almost the whole underbelly.

What are your water parameters? Try Jungle Fungus Eliminator. The water must be very clean with water parameters up to your expectations. Post the results.

Fungus is often the result of an injury that has got infected, and this can happen pretty quickly.

My guess is that there has been agression in the tank, leading to injuries which has, in turn, lead to the fungus. Have you noticed any agression in the tank?
