It's rare that there is one truth in fishkeeping - circumstances play a large roll. The big question is why. Why do they say it's good/bad?

My fish are never constipated because I feed NLS, so I have no experience with feeding peas.

New Life Spectrum - staple pellet food.

Peas can be useful depending on the species. Most fish are omnivores like goldfish and will benefit from some greens in their diets. But betta are true carnivores and don't need greens like peas. It's always best to feed a high-quality pellet food like New Life Spectrum and supplement with treats depending on the needs of the species.
