new to fish and have lots of questions to get me started
I have just purchased a 65L tank, and have introduced a variety of live plants before adding fish. How often do i feed the plants and what is the best food. :-?
Hi Dooley and welcome to the forum
I moved your thread here to the aquarium plants section.
I've been using Seachem Comprehensive liquid fert. once or twice a week in my planted tank with pretty good results but can you give us a rough idea of what type of plants you have in the tank?
Hi, and welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum.
I second Romad on the Flourish Comprehensive Supplement. Another near-identical one is Brightwell Aquatics' FlorinMulti.
You should also ascertain the GH (general hardness) of your tap water, and the KH (carbonate hardness or Alkalinity) while you're at it, as the GH affects plants and fish, depending, and the KH buffers the pH, which you should also determine. Your water supply people can provide this data, they may have a website.
