Solana aquarium -led or mh? HELP PLEASE

Ive read and read and cant figure out which to choose or how many wats of led. I recently bought a solana aquarium 20 x 20 x 20 34 gallon. I read that LEDs can never be so true as mh but also read that they both do the same job. I am in need of a quick opinion on which to get. Please give me your thoughts.

I recently setup a 30g tank and had a 30" QUAD T5H0 (High Output) on it. It is for sale in the classified section if you happened to be interested in it.

Metal Halides are incredibly hot and maybe overkill for your tank. Reef Capable LEDS while expensive will be better off in long term as they are cost saving and produce far less heat than a MH.

LED's are the best way to go. Then Metal Halide are second. Then T-5

Thanks for the input.. How many watts of led or which fixtures should I consider with my size tank.. I want to be able to keep any coral happyy..

Any unit using 3watt LED's with optics will be enough light. 70-100 watts

What about the kessil? Are those any good?

That looks cheap and I don't think it will be as strong considering the major price difference?

Not just one. If you had 4-5 of those on your tank, to overlap lighting, it would be plenty. One Kessel on the other hand would not.

My LFS couldnt get his hands on a solana. So i ended up with a JBJ 30 gallon Rimless and i bought a JBJ unibody led fixture.. do you think this is enough lighting for my tank?
