betta and mollies

will 1 male betta and 2 juvenile mollies get along?

Can they theoretically get along? Yes. Should they be put together? Absolutely NOT. Just my opinion.

First, they have very different requirements respecting water parameters.

Second, the male betta is basically a stand-alone fish; one in a 5g tank is fine. Betta is not a good community fish and while some may have had a certain amount of luck, i would not risk fish to find out as it is inherent in the fish's genes to be the way they are.

Byron.
