This is gonna be my little thread were you (and I) can keep track of the going-ons in the growing of my tank.

Tank's just finishing up a 6 week break in period.
Currently there's 2 golds, 2 tiger barbs, 2 bala sharks, and 2 redtail sharks.

Just babies now. I think later today (Once I finish finals!) I'm gonna go buy a fish that costs more than $3 as a reward.

PS The Canon S5 has a "Aquarium" setting that works pretty well. I'll get it dialed in as time goes.

Yeah, rocks look a lot lighter than I realized under the light. I should be getting a better decoration setup around Christmas...
Anyway, got a banded lemparini (how the heck do you spell lemparini?!) the other day. Cute girl working at the fish store = me buying lots of fish.

That's a nice looking tank Skeeter, and there are a lot of possible options you could go with at this stage.

One thing to bear in mind is that gold fish are coldwater and the barbs etc are tropical and require different temperatures. With this in mind, and considering the fish you already have, I would consider rehoming the goldfish and concentrating on tropicals. :)

Yeah, I'll lose the goldfish. I just had them in there to help the tank get kicked off.

Cute girl at the fish store struck again! (Oh darn.) Just bought a young Red Tiger Oscar. Pics to come once he's out of the bag.
At least I got her name this time!

Oh, and it's a Banded Leporinus. Had to take a notepad to the store to write it down. Pictures of him coming soon too.

of what? to heck with the fish. I want pictures of the cute girl at the fish store :D all the cute chicks at my LFS think im a sick sick person with a horrible fish addiction lol
