Excess dirt removal?

Okay so I have a pond, about 250 gallons, and on the bottom there is much dirt that I can get with a net :( I tried to use a bucket and get all the water out but I didnt work :/ any ideas?

Ps my waterfall pump isn't on yet, but I'm just wondering if there's any techniques to get it out?

Thx 4 help :)!

How about a shop vac? That will do the job.

Definitely a shop vac situation. Otherwise, fill the pond with a little water and use the pond pump with a pre-filter and just pump the dirty water on the ground until it is clean enough for you. Stir it up first to get the most out at a time. As they say on the shampoo bottles, rinse and repeat if necessary.
