light for cic tank
just wondering what the best light setup i could use for a cic tank currently have yellow labs and misc cichlids from pet store. it would be on a 55 gallon tank. right now i have a split hood with two lights.one better?
The fixture you have is just fine. You may want to look for bulbs that would enhace the color of your fish. These should be available at your lfs.
any bulb i should look for i found most things way over priced locally would be intrested in ordering online. suggestions?
A lamp something along the lines of the added link would do very well.
I really don't know what kind of fixyre you are usein, but these are T-8's, I believe. If you use T-5's or compacts , this light is not for you. But you can get similar bulbs to fit you fixture's configuration.
i just checked i have two aqua glo bulbs 18" similar ?
