black eyes?

my guppy ,. i just noticed, has black eyes. i saw she was hiding on the bottom, too so i put her in the breeding box for privacy, and in case she gives birth. it is meant for 2 guppies, so it is fine. is this bad?
her sister has amber irises.

Has she always had black eyes? If the answer is yes, then it's ok. I've seen many guppies with black eyes, I'm pretty sure it's part of their coloration.

last night i took her out of the breeding box.
i woke up the next morning, and she was dead.
