Fronts withBlack mollys, and platie

I woul like to add Fronts with my Mollys and Platies. I know that Fronts are the less aggresive of the Cichlids so does anyone see a problem? Any personel experience would be appriciated.

What size is the tank? The frontosas are going to eat your fish, no pun intended.

SeaSerpant 12-16-2007 07:16 PM

from the pictures of it it looks liable to eat the mollies.

SeaSerpant 12-16-2007 07:40 PM

I wouldn't put the fronts in there. If this tank is a community, there is no way for you to accomplish that without having the fronts eat the fish. They are better off in a tank dedicated to Lake Tanganyikan cichlids.

Thanks maybe I will move the Mollys and Platy now what about the Pleco would he be safe? I have only raised nasty oscars this is why I have so many questions. My Oscars were all raised in a very large tank and they had tussles but they were all about the same size so it always wored out. And I ment nasty in a good way.

I would also add that if you have Frontosas in a Tanganyikan Community tank, they need to be with fish that they cannot swallow.
