bulkhead fittings question

Hi everyone. I've decided to drill my tank for my filter but i was wondering what kind of fittings would be better, the bulkhead fittings I have found on aquacave website. My question is would I be able to use pvc fittings ? Any ideas would really help.

Yes, you can use pvc fittings. Home centers such as Lowes or Home depot carry bulkhead fittings. You did not say how big your tank is and is it glass or acrylic.
I would recommend that you ask a fish store manager on how to drill a glass or acrylic tank. This is not a diy project for the inexperienced. Either material can crack if not drilled properly. Weigh the cost of doing it yourself and failing; against hiring someone to do it.

Hi all
ooopps I guess I didn't include everything in my first post. My tank is a all glass brand and is 150 gallons 48x24x30. The glass is 1/2 inch. thanks for the help.
