breeding fire belly toads?
anyone in here ever bred, or heard of anyone breeding fire belly toads? i just wanted to know what it would take because it would be pretty cool.
So far here is what I have found:
They prefer to be in groups so they can hudle and commune, I found nothing on the group size but I would think 7-10 would suffice. The water should be shallow but deep enough for them to have some sort of caves under water to lay thier eggs in. Also, it seems that a cooler temperature for a time then warming can stimulate them to breed. I have not been able to find anything specific about the temperatures needed. Also, feeding live food and varying it as much as possible is supposed to help.
alright well if anyone else finds any good links it would be great. because by summer i will have a 30, 20, and 10 open for anything. ya know incase i have to seperate them so they dont eat offspring
