In a pond, it is impossible to get rid all the dead snails and failure to do so yields negative water parameter results often with ammonia increase harming and killing all your fish. Copper is also almost impossible to remove.
The only way to control their population is manual removal, bait by weighing down a lettuce or get fish that will relish on snails. Goldfish and Koi have been known to eat even the snails but unless your pond can accommodate either of the two fish, you have to stick on the first two methods mentioned in the first sentence of this paragraph.
Good luck.:) |
