| | Coral Stone, Bio-RIng and Lava stone ratio for pond filter
I am getting a pond for my new house. the pond is around 10 feet (width) x 12 feet (long) and 6 feet (depth). The filter compartment is 10 feet (width) x 4 feet (long) and 6 feet (depth) with 3 or 4 smaller compartment.
I am not sure how much filter media i need to put in to the filter compartment which can support the pond size i am going to have. I wanted to know what is the filter media (coral stone, bio-ring and lava stone) ratio. I have done some reading and the only information I get is 1kg of crush coral stone to 40 liter water ratio. but how about other filter media such as bio-ring and filer media? or do I need lava stone?
