What my boy Skip got for Christmas....

Well, it was actually an early Christmas present. Roxie, the new pup has been with us for 3 weeks now.
I had no plans of getting another dog, but a local dog rescue set up at Petsmart the day I needed to go for more supplies. The pup looked like a mini Skip. They told me if it did not work out, I could bring the pup back, so I thought why not give it a shot. Skip loves his new "toy". I was worried he would be too rough with it, but he has been so sweet and gentle.

They are both kept indoors, I just took them outside for some play time.

You know, I actually invested in new dog toys for Xmas and my dogs love them (despite the dozens they have already).

I wish I could buy them cute stuffed toys like the butterfly...buying my dogs stuffed toys is like throwing money in the toilet these days : )

I know what you mean Stephanie. It does not take my pups long to pull all the stuffing out. They only get discounted stuffed toys.

Do you have Costco where you are, Twistersmom? They have a 4-pack of nice plush toys for just eight bucks. 2 bucks a toy isn't bad. Something else I happen to notice is that ToysRUs sells stuffed Teddy Bears way cheaper than pet stores do....

How cute!!!! My guys would have a blast with them, 2 more dogs-snow-stuffed animals and BALLS to fetch....that's like heaven for my guys right there lol
Try the toy section at thrift stores for stuffed critters....I think my 1 dog has MASTERED it 'how to take a brand new toy apart in 2 sec or less" lol

Are they pure bred Lab's? The bigger guy sure looks like one but I can really see the lil one. They sure are cuties!!!
