Thanks for the "good luck's" from everyone! I hope he finds a "forever" family too! Sadly my ex is NOT a reliable person to care for Pepper. He's already neglected him while Pepper's been living there which is why I stop by frequently.
I did visit the Maine Coon rescue site but it's not quite ready for posts yet. I did find a phone number which I'll be calling to see if they can help. You're absolutely right about Maine's, they are very loveable, intelligent, wonderful pets, friends really. One of my VP's asked our local YMCA to which they said yes, so a lot of people are trying to help. It's a time issue right now....
