so i have recently (about a month and a half ago) rescued/adopted 3 guinea pigs. oh man! talk about interesting pets. i LOVE them. my son sits and talks to them for a while sometimes. it is ADORABLE! they are doing so awesome. i was so concerned at first about the first two. they were just so miserable and i was worried that their laziness was sickness not just apathy from being in a tiny cage their whole lives. I LOVE THEM. they have such great personalities. i have built them a large cage to live in and they are spoiled as all heck! today akani begged the lettuce from my daughter. it was very cute. she had snatched a piece while i was making a salad. and akani saw her with it. it was adorable.

this is just my starting. i am going to make it better soon. i can't wait! will be expanding and adding a loft area. it will be super awesome! i am going to make it a 3X5 grid with a loft in that middle level. thinking about just cutting out the loft idea and making it a tri level. what do you guys think?

yes it is. i lost two of the clips that went to the top. that is why it is so uneven on the top. that is where it opens. and the middle level is where it opens that is why there is no floor there. i am also looking for coroplast still. and that will help it out a lot. but i live in the middle of no where. so i am going to be adding some stuff to help adjust it to my missing coroplast.

np. i love my boys. they are so funny. going to be making the cage bigger soon. can't wait for that. when i move the beginning of next year i am going to rebuild it and add some fleece forests for them to hide/play in. working on sewing some liners.
