Alas poor stuart, I knew him.

It appears I could be considered a Hypocrite. Some months ago, a small mouse found it's way into the boileroom where I spend the majority of my working day.
On occasion, the little mouse would make his presence known by peering out from behind this corner, or that ,and even became so brave as to climb the cord to my computer and peer out from behind the printer or monitor.I began offering the little mouse crackers with peanut butter (his favorite), or whatever I had for lunch.
EEH God I even gave him a name ,Stuart Little. All was well so long as the little mouse confined his travels to the boileroom but sometime in the last few weeks ,he made himself known in office areas where his presence was not appreciated. The women became panicked, and apparently called on pest control who placed these little death traps (glueboards) throughout the building.
I removed the ones from the boileroom but Stuart managed to become stuck to one of these traps over the weekend in an office area and I did not find him or her, until this morning.
Sadly there was nothing I could do for the little creature for he had succumed.
I placed him in a box and cremated the remains in the boiler.
I have often said that I care little for the emotional aspects of our hobby but the little mouse wormed it's way into my everyday life and will be missed.I suppose I should not be so dismissive of those who attach human qualties to their fishes and give them cute little names and I shall work on this.
Truly,I am a Hypocrite.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.

This was a great story to wake up to. Thanks :)

RIP Stuart.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

funny how things change us. !

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Ah, poor Stuart. What a sweet story, minus the ending. This story illustrates what I had always believed about you and that you have now confirmed as true. On top of being a hypocrite, you are a softy with a big
(I knew it all along )

R.I.P. Stuart!

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...
