I've had her for over 2 years so she was quite old for a hamster. I thought my last hamster was hibernating and I kept her in the airing cupboard for 4 days to see if she would "wake up" but no. :(

Thanks though.

Very sad to hear Julie, mine lasted about the same time.

Most upsetting when you get attached to any pet

I had 3 rats.the first one got sick and we had to put her down .You wouldnt imagine the pain that it caused.the other ones we had at the same time, they passed away at home, and to this day they are buried in the back yard.the first ones name was zoe,the other two were marykate and ashley . we also had two dogs that we had to put down, one was 13 years, one was only 9 months.

I know the pain you are feeling, sorry to hear about the loss of your hampster.
