You've made a lot of progress since you last shared here - and it looks NICE! This is going to be so sweet when all is said and done. Can't wait! I'm trying reeeaaaallly hard not to be jealous - I wish I had space (and skills!) to do something like this in a tank that size!!! ^__^

Wish I had the confidence and competence to go in on a project like that!
Also very jealous of the green grass that I couldn't help but notice in your photo. Just got 12" of wet, heavy snow with more on the way. C'mon Spring.
Good luck with your project, can't wait to see how it progresses.
Is that just regular spray foam?

Haha would trade ya that green grass for the snow any day! We don't get much snow here in TN.
Yes is pretty much just regular spray foam. Is just the brand ppl say is safe.

Well after all that work I discovered a setback with water area...... yeah it leaks!! And in the stage of the build its about impossible to go back. Soo not sure I will fix it now. Going to try and reseal it and if that doesn't work I will just feel the whole bottom with water and then raise the platform for the substrate higher soo it doesn't get wet I guess.

O.O I know I've said this to you already, personally - and several times over, at that - but. . . wow!
I can't believe how far you've come with this project, and how quickly!
Thank you so much for taking the time to post your progress, and to share your experience with us on this fun new adventure. I know this is a first time for you, but. . . I can hardly believe you've never done this before!!! You've got a talent, no doubt about it - and I am so looking forward to following along as you add to this tank, and bring it to what I just KNOW is going to be another amazingly beautiful environment by John! Keep up the good work - I can't wait to see where this one ends up! You're off to a fantastic start - so. . . pretty! Definitely looking forward to watching it grow under that green thumb of yours! ^__^
