I'm sorry, Bek. . .but you've learned so much - there's still enough summer left to try it again, or maybe do an indoor version? It would be so much easier to do with the stability of an indoor tank, for sure. . .

:( I'm really sorry everything is dying away. I agree with everyone else. Try it indoors. There are a LOT of things that can go wrong outside and some of the more sensitive plants aren't always equipped to handle it. Or alternatively, you could look into some native plants in your area that would be able to handle the swings.

thanks guys :) it did a LOT better when the set up was indoors. perhaps in the next bit i can add more pennywort and stems and leave them inside.
