Kate:

Those are "much, much prettier" than the ones which I have in the back yard.

The ones which are indigenous to West Texas are chameleons.

If they are on the cinder block fence you can only be aware of them if they move (or the puppy dog gets after them and then they move).

Same when they are on the brick vernier on the rear of the house under the porch.

When they are on the pecan trees neither the puppy dog nor Ron can see them unless they move.

I had a tokay. I used apples, oranges, fresh pineapple, and a commercial water- holding foam to provide water for my crickets. A water bowl became a "drowning pool" for the insects. Your "pet" is very good looking, the question is, does it eat bedbugs? lol

Thanks for the comments guys. Currently, I'm feeding the crickets with orange and cucumber. I have ordered some commercial food for feeding them up, and will take your advice re the holding foam herefishy :)

As for bedbugs... I haven't tried them with that particular delicacy yet

Nope - spiders are still my main phobia.. but I think I'll be adding crickets to the list, especially the black ones!

I guess that means me sending you a couple of dozen of these for you to raise babies from "is out of the question"?

I have seen many of these which were 6" (1/6M) in leg span.

Also they are very, very brightly colored with many variations.

What colors do you prefer for the shipment?

Ron, she's going to make you wear kilts if you send her spiders.
