I recently upgraded Charlie's tank and have spent the last couple of days arranging and rearranging things lol. Not quite finished, but here's how it looks now:

And Charlie asleep in his new surroundings!

What a beautiful creatures. Thanks for all the awesome photos. :) What size tank minimum can they comfortably be kept in?

I can answer that. A young Leo (Under 5") can be kept in a 10G, but an adult does best in a 20G long tank.

Looks great Kate. Is that an Exo-Terra viv?

Also, I would add another hide if I were you, on the cool side. After all the things I read about Leos (and it was a lot, lol), they benefit the most from three hides (Warm, Cool, and Moist). I think I would also add some small-medium sized driftwood to the center.

Thanks for the comments

Cody, I had another hide/cave until recently but he had absolutely no interest in using it so I gave it away. He doesn't even use his remaining cave that much, but prefers to sleep sprawled out in the open (usually with one foot stuck in either his water, calcium or food dish ).

He sleeps in some really weird positions.. legs all over the place - I'll try to get some photos.

As for the wood - I had a piece in his last tank but I'm keeping an eye out for something nicer. I found a website that sells driftwood with air plants attached to the side and I might go with one of those.. haven't quite decided yet.

Pictures of Charlie asking out for his evening stroll. When he wants to come out he climbs up the front of the glass and scrapes to get out, usually around the same time each evening. Here he is just before tonight's outing:

Thanks SolaceTiger. I call Charlie a 'he' but he's actually a female. I though she was a male for so long that it stuck

I'm sure yours will become more tame with handling Lainey. I remember when Charlie used to run a mile when I put my hand in his tank and the first time I ever took him out he got such a fright that he threw up. Now there's no stopping him

Sorry Codes, I missed your earlier question. Nope, it's not an exo-terra vivarium. I did look at them but they don't come in the dimensions I was looking for. If I ever get a climbing lizard I'll probably go with exo-terra but this one was made by a guy in the reptile section of my LFS.
