I liked the effect of the repti-carpet in the tank, but I was worried that it was a bit jaggy for his little feet so I took it out. And yes, the vinyl paper is much easier to keep clean. He has a habit of dragging moss out of his moist box, and standing in his calcium dish.

Like yours, Charlie does the toilet in once place - inside a cave in his tank. I keep a piece of kitchen towel in there which I replace every couple of days.

It's amazing how easy they are to look after on the whole.

I took a video clip of Charlie feeding this morning - I'll post it when I get access to another computer (the driver isn't compatible with Vista)

Kate that would be great if you could pm me with the details. Will be after the summer like i said, but it certainly won't hurt to have their details, and at least if they're on a pm, rather than written down somewhere, I won't loose them, LOL!

Is he old enough to be able to tell if he's male or female yet? At least Charlie could be used for either really - well thoguht out!

Here's a couple of pictures just taken - wow, he's growing up fast. However, he's still unable to distinguish between mealworms and my fingers!!

Thanks Lainey! :D

I'm seriously considering getting an additional, bigger tank and getting a breeding pair.

i think you would get alot of enjoyment from that,
especially if you get a pair,
i did not buy from a breeder in the begining, and had to
get my pair the hard way, lucky there was no damage done,
and once i had my pair, they were always together,
they were a joy to watch.

Thanks folks! :) I have a video of him feeding which I'll post as soon as I can find a driver for my camcorder that's compatible with Vista.
