Leopard Gecko

Hi all, this is my new friend.. a young leopard gecko called Charlie. Excuse the poor quality photo - I'll try to get some better ones once he has settled in.

Did you name him after anyone special? Nice little critter, Kate. Cricket eating fools.

It's called repti-carpet or something like that. The reptile centre uses it in their tanks - apparently it's one of the preferred choices.

Sand can't be used as a substrate as apparently the gecko can ingest this and become impacted.

Cool photos, Katey!8)

Why do you call the cricket offending?

Sent from my desktop or phone or whatever else I am holding on to

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.

just a little something i thought of,keep a fresh bit of fruit
in the viv for the crickets,if there are any left,(ment to remove uneaten)
so they don't look at charlie as something to snack on.

Thanks Willow! I have a slice of orange in there - so hopefully they'll leave him alone. I'm a little concerned that he's not eating very well at the moment - but I suppose I need to give him time to settle down.
