yeah i guess i'm lucky with him,i have been showing him
the geckos, and their live food, and he has reacted very well,
not sure he would be as clam with a cricket on him,but
he is very good,i think he was more anoyed that the "lizard"
was in his little train box.
here is the box the gecko was in.
i have thrown the box away now,as there was poop in there.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Glad to hear you got him back safe and sound Lainey. I had a similar experience a while back - I left the sliding door on the front of Charlie's tank ever so slightly open while I went to get his food from the kitchen. When I got back he was offski.. he managed to climb out of the tank and drop about three feet onto the floor - I nearly had a fit when I came back through and saw him on the carpet. Luckily the cat wasn't in the room at the time, but that's a mistake I won't be making again.

wow kate that was lucky the cat was out.!! there have been lots
of people latley losing a reptile around the house,
OH is going to be building me a three stack viv this week i hope,
we should be going to get the wood tomorrow. :)
i have two locks already, and need to get a third.
the reason behind the three stack,is that i very well may be,
almost positivly, going to get a Bearded Dragon.(pogona vitticeps)
and the third lock will be to keep him safe. !!

Wow - a bearded dragon! Think you'll get one, or will you go for a pair?

When your OH is finished building your vivs, tell him he's very welcome to come round here and build me some too.

:( probably not this side of christmas.
still gives me something to look forward to.
it will only be the one,as i don't want to breed, gosh knows there are
enough unwanted reptiles as it is,and two females
apparently don't always get on either.would love an iggy however
i have not got the room for one of those unless i get shot of the kids.........
hmmmmmmmm.

thought i would give a little update.
the leos will have new homes soon.they're having a viv made of wood.
OH and i went shopping today, and were checking out the wood, and i suggested we have a look
in argos at the book shelves and cupboards.well we picked up a small book shelf, for £20.00
it can easily be split onto two sections, all i need now is the glass ordered and to get the glass runners.
i'll pop some pictures in later, nothing exciting, just a book case carcus at the moment,
however i'm sure with a little imagination you can see the potential
it's not exactly what i wanted in the begining, however this be will fine,
and not that i know what i would do with them, but i'll soon have two fish tanks free.

sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
