Thanks! I'm most proud of that one, too! But I snapped it just a moment too soon. He gulped that food right after I hit the button.

Oh! I also found a decent group picture. Usually I can get them together often but not this time.

Lol it is pretty big as it stands. I actually can't enlarge it anymore due to the way it was built into the side of the hill. And I'm not sure I would want to enlarge any pond I build. Doing so is extraordinarily costly. I'd probably save money by just buying a larger pond. That's one the most repeated bits of advice I hear on pond sites and magazines. Go just a bit larger than you want because it's incredibly difficult to enlarge a pond.

OR! You can purchase another tub and connect the two!

You know, I've always thought that would be too cool. Have a large pond in the back and a large one in the front and streams that connect them both going around the house. LOL! Koi pond moat!

Get ready for another flood of pictures! These are really the last weeks of the year I can get quality pictures of the koi and the pond. It's usually the middle of October that we cover the pond with the netting. Those trees around it sure keep the algae and the heat down, but man are they a pain in winter... MOAR PHOTOS!!

I swear, I would live out there. . . you couldn't get me into the house all summer, I think! ^.^
So happy the weather finally decided to cooperate with you, and you were able to get so many stunning shots before tucking in for the winter. It really is just lovely - the fish, the pond, the whole environment. Gorgeous! Can't wait to see what you do when you get a new place!!! Will these babies eventually be moving with you when you go?
