Local peeps are importing .... If you can get a close up of the leaf perhaps we can try and cross ID....

I could try asking some people I know. I don't know if they'd know. Probably easier to tell with a flower or hightech submerged.

Aokashi-I can try if you like. The seller just had everything in the same bag unlabeled so i could have screwed a bunch up. I messaged him earlier asking him if I IDed them correctly and he seemed to think I was calling him a liar :/ That reaction had me searching the net all day.

In need of some advice. One of my Buces (Miranda) appears to have fungus on the leaves. I wiped them with hyrdogen peroxide and stuck it in the QT tank. Lesson learned hopefully painlessly. Anything else I should try for it. One other issue...well I need the QT tank.

So between the misIDed plants and now the fungus I have definitely been super down on my whole collection. Like to the point where I didn't even want to go stare at it anymore. I got some new plants though so that has changed, if the fungus would go away! I'm thinking of putting the bothersome (to me) in a rescaped aquarium or just being rid of them in some way.

These new plants came from far, far away (read between the lines). Shipping cost me $25 if that helps. Paid Saturday afternoon and they arrived today.

I present to you...Bucephalandra biblis. Not one, but two plants!

I'm actually keeping them in the QT tank, but took them out to get a better picture. Now you see why I was worried about moving the B. Miranda to QT. So excited again! Just got to solve the problem.

New babies!!! They are so cute!!!

So here is a thought. Would putting the sick buce in a submersed tank help stop the spread of the fungus?

I thought about that and was hoping it was a good idea, because I have no clue. I can stick it in my soil tank only. The blackwater is a plant killer and the stem tank has BBA which would be a bad idea. Think i should try?

I know complete submersion is used to treat some disease with CP's, and I've honestly never had a single submerged plant get sick. I'd say go ahead a give it a shot.

But does this mean that your big tank needs more circulation or something?

Hmm I didn't even consider a circulation problem. I was blaming the plant/seller. I've had the plant for 2 weeks and it is the only one showing a problem. The other plants I have had for much longer look fine. I did some thorough, thorough exams.
