The flower is perfect. GAH! It's BEAUTIFUL!!! . . . and it may be the most beautiful picture you've taken to date - the veining in the leaves - this is Gunung Sumpit, right? How far its come since you first brought it home!

I'm so upset to hear about your PB account. . . I don't even know what to say, except that no - the thread is NOT worthless - even without pics. Did *I* just say that?!!! Yep. I did. And I meant it. Please don't let this stop you from posting in the future. . .I hope you can figure out what happened, and somehow. . . get your pictures back. *hugs*

An email to photobucket some how got me my pictures restored. Some problem the engineers solved. The why and how doesn't concern me. Just happy to have my pics back. Some of the nonplant ones couldn't be replaced.

Some other pics I took last night, now that I'm in a better mood.

Some of the dying leaves I mentioned at the bottom, but still looks nice.

Back from the dead and actually growing. Kind of deserving of the ghost name.

This one has issues and has been banished to the far corner. No clue what is going on. One healthy sideshoot and a rhizome that has turned black and almost hairy. I'm debating just cutting off the healthy part.

Sideshoots in the QT. No reason to keep QTing...except those plants look better than the ones not in QT. Stupid white leaves. One more day to repotting and maybe even hacking.

Rest of QT cause I felt like it.

Just cause I thought the picture came out really well.

what a resultů.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

So I've been holding out a bit. I had some flowers I never showed off because I had been in a very blah mood that I'm trying to work myself out of. Don't want to get into that, but here's some pictures taken between now and the last update. Can't remember exactly when.

Gunung sumpit where you can see new and the dead old spathe.

Green chile and the open spathe on the Gunung Sumpit.

At the same time Brownie Jade was flowering in the QT. Why the QT still? The plants in there look better. No algae at all, no whitening leaves or blackening rhizomes. I think I'm going to rip down the 55 and do smaller tanks with lower lighting and not even worry about circulation. I can take full tank shots if anyone wants to see what I mean.
