1. you go to Ace Hardware store to buy metal rulers and come out with a couple powerstrips and 5 workers each carrying 50 lb bagds of playsand :D

2. (this is true) when you go on interviews with prep schools your first question is "do you guys let kids keep aquariums in the science building/dorm rooms?!?!"

3. when you zone out of the real world to stare at aquariums (also true- I saw a marine aquarium in the Phelps science building at Phillips Exeter Academy and completely zoned out the tourguide)

You know you're a fishkeeper when:

All your fish die as a result of a heater malfunction , but within two hours you have done a water change, purchased a new heater and new fish :D

You know your a fish keeper when your two year old daughter can tell you the names of fish and inverts, and knows the difference.

Whooo, no kidding.
My toilet looks like a biology experiment gone wrong, but my tanks are happy.
