1. you go to Ace Hardware store to buy metal rulers and come out with a couple powerstrips and 5 workers each carrying 50 lb bagds of playsand :D

2. (this is true) when you go on interviews with prep schools your first question is "do you guys let kids keep aquariums in the science building/dorm rooms?!?!"

3. when you zone out of the real world to stare at aquariums (also true- I saw a marine aquarium in the Phelps science building at Phillips Exeter Academy and completely zoned out the tourguide)

You know you're a fishkeeper when:

All your fish die as a result of a heater malfunction , but within two hours you have done a water change, purchased a new heater and new fish :D

You know what the definition of hobby is: something of interest that is going to cost you lots of money!

My toilet looks like a biology experiment gone wrong, but my tanks are happy.

Fish have taken over my house. I threw away my couch to make room for another 125 gallon.

re: the third one yeah....i zone out when i look at my tank. i had my fish and all other misc items relating fish as my christmas and birthday present. FISH theme birthday party at Rumors night club (its a misc. hall so dont get any ideas) and give away Cories to people that present a picture of their tank and sumbit it into our drawing!! then well choose 5 pictures at random!! and then a prize!! ya a gift certificate for a lfs!!!! yay that would be so the bomb!!!! on my grraduation day i will want that to happen. then i will demand my dad buy me a 300 gal tehee so i can get a clown loach EEE =D
