When I watch animal planet and see anykind of gull bird thing and think "okiemavis" lol.

Or, lately whenever I look at the clock I always catch it at 8:04, so I flip it (A weird habit I have) and think HOB hang on the back filter

I get paid and at least 100 bucks of it is going to fish. Depending on what I'm wanting to buy that week lol.

You're sitting at your desk pretending to be preparing the monthly financials while browsing fishforum.com. Boss walks in to check on your progress. Boss immediately notices that you're browsing fishforum.com. You quickly try to open the accounting window but instead up pops the aquabid website at the SAME time the FedEx guy walks in with not one, but TWO very LARGE packages from "that fish place"....

Luckily, you finish the financials long before boss expected them. You walk them over to the boss's office and you bust HIM playing fantasy football. Thank god for football season...

When you stand in front of the tank and sing The Format to your fish. My ADF, Darwin, actually watches quite intently when I sing to him (ok, ok... so I was dancing too).

Or when you want to go to the lfs so bad that you sqeeze it in before youth group and then have to bring fish to church with you. "What's in the bag? Why the heck do you have fish with you?!" It's always hard to explain. Some of them think I'm a little wacko.

when you walk into the room while your parents are talking about how the roof, barn, dining room, and kitchen have to be redone and you say "no i think we just need another tank"

when you take a hike and everyone is comenting on the beautiful colored leaves and you throw your hands in the air and scream "oh my god that rock would look perfect in my tank!"

when you go to the L.L.Bean store to buy a backpak and all you do is sit there and stare at the HUGE fishtank with catfish and bass in it.

but yea none of us have a fish problem..... :P

When you go to the National Aquarium in Baltimore, and instead of being fascinated by the giant pool of rays or the sharks, you're looking at the smaller freshwater tanks for aquascaping ideas.

You know you have a problem when....

1) you repaint your bedroom and bathroom in aquatic colors (aqua for the bedroom and a minty green for the bath

2) get aqua colored bed sheets with a saltwater fish print pillow

3) buy lots of little fish that you hang on your walls (little wood painted tangs, angels, and a butterfly or two)

4) have a fish mobile at the age of 18

5) bring a printed copy of a fish book into your history class at high school

6,7,8,9... will be for a future visit ;)
