Driving to the fish store today I was pondering some things that others may consider symptoms of a problem. Share yours!

-When I have to choose between gas and fish money, I choose to buy fish stuff.
-I blow the circuit breaker at least once a day on the circuit my tanks are on.
-Often when people ask me to hang out, I'm busy because I want to clean my tanks.

I regularly consider ditching one of my sofas to make room for a huge tank

(ok now this is getting off topic)

I was wandering thru my basement trying to find the circuit breaker, and I've always thought the basement was nasty and unfinished (I rent 1 floor of a 3 family). Well past the nasty basement bit is a whole secret, finished apartment! Unused with furniture, washing machine, etc. Whoa! It's been empty for years!

Well, the point of that story is...hmmm, more fishy room? Also, it was really strange and trippy. Kinda expected to find bodies under the floorboards. Gonna turn it into a haunted house for Halloween.

Same here!

Another thing, whenever I see adverts for hair dye on telly and they say "no amonia" (apparently amonia is bad for hair too?) the first thing that comes to mind is fish, and I have a wee laugh to myself.

when on holiday you come across a huge pile of Lava rock,
and drule over the thought of it in your tank.
when you spend so much time on the computer talking to your fish friends
that the rest of the family give up saying "are you done yet"!

When you become so obsessed with adding slate to your tank that you start walking past houses with slate roofs in the hope that some has fallen off

When your hubby accepts that any free time he gets to spend with you will probably be spent driving to one of the "good" fish stores.

When you consider putting an aquarium IN the barn!!!
