willow checking in

hey
i've been away a while,and here i am again.
how many old friends still frequent ?
nice to meet new friends too though

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

I just came back too recent. Nice to see you back. It has been two years for me. How is all the fish doing? And I think you have a lizard too, right?

hey thanks, welcome back to you too
i just have fish now,i re-homed the bearded dragon.
i still have the big tank, and this weekend i am lucky
enough to be getting a 240l ? (i think thats how many litres)
corner tank for free !!!!
i've got a lot of work to do on both tanks, the big one looks i little raggy,
but i need to be careful how i do things in there, as i have a relatively new pair
of rams and i don't want to upset them.
the corner tank just needs a clean then just need to fix it up how i want it,
i'll try and remember to do a new tank diary

hows things going with you ?

sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have

I had to rehome my leopard gecko as well. I moved to a small apartment and had to downsize big time. I got rid of my 55 gallon tank and now down to only my 10 gallon. I switched over to live plants too for first time ever. New learning experience for me, keeping it low tech.

Lucky duck. You will have to keep us posted on the progress of it once you get things together for it. When you get a chance post some pictures of the big tank.

I have been trying to keep a look out for other members that we used to chat with. Haven't came across some that I remember or maybe they changed their user name. Remember Oldfishlady...and I think termato and romad? Haven't seen anything come across of their posts yet. Just happy to see you back :)

aww sad when we re-home isn't it,
the 55 went as well, gosh!
i'm not great with live plants i don't have green fingers, but the anubis seems to be happy,
and even produced flowers ! i keep to the easiest plants i can lol.
should be getting picked up today i can't wait,
won't be set up for a little while, have to wait until some furniture is moved around,
then all systems go, i've even got a filter ready to be fitted, i ran it as an extra ,in the hope that i could
get clearer water in the big tank, kept having trouble with particles not clearing.
so i could stock straight away ! gosh it's endless when you start to think what you can do,
and i'm soooo lucky with the size too.

Aquarium
Hey Willow, I still check in once in awhile but not as often as before. The new format still gives me problems and I still can't add or update in my tank log. Got discouraged by the lack of activity on here too. It seemed to have really dropped off. Hopefully that will change.

Anyhoo, congrats on the free tank! Always fun to set up a new tank. Looking forward to some pics.
willow likes this.

150 Gallon - Mostly American Cichlids
135 Gallon - Angelfish Community
75 Gallon - Odd couple (Polleni/Angelfish)
55 Gallon - African tank
20 Gallon Long - QT
10 Gallon - Empty

hey good to see you
didn't notice until this morning that the glass is scratched on the front
an awful lot hoping that once it's filled it won't notice ??
i bought substrate today, and lava rock......looks really nice and bought two
new bulbs, not filling until i have the backing attached, and that's on order.
fish choice i was considering either fancy gold fish, or Mbuna cichlids .
