So, so sorry to hear about your loss of your well loved, handsome dog, Doc. I'm always touched by people who care so much for their pets, no matter how small, and you have a huge heart. Know your dog lived a happy life, even if shorter than you would have wished. May the good memories make you smile.

It is so sad loosing a pet, and my thoughts are with you. It does get better. Stay strong, know you have many people thinking of you.

I remember you were the first person to welcome me to the forum, not long ago.

Thanks everyone. I'm still upset about it and still have tears every day. I loved that dog so much. Of all the dogs I've ever lived with he was the sweetest most good natured dog. Doc loved everyone and I could trust him with stangers, kids, and babies. My nephews came down for the weekend to cheer me up (it worked!) and they were very sad he was gone too. Of all my dogs Doc was their favorite.

At least you know how he went. When my yorkie-poo died he was eaten by cyotes. The sad part is we were watching a movie and I heard him bark to come in but I didn't let him in and karma kicked me in the gut and said this is what you get. I was devastated, such a litlle dog had a big personality and captured my heart and I caused his death. I felt so bad. I feel your pain Kym.

That's so awful. But there is no way you could have guessed that that was going to happen.

My dog died on Tuesday. It was very sudden.
